Whangaripo Valley is a family-owned and run business. They employ local staff and, like Foodbox, where possible use local suppliers and tradespeople. Unlike other free-range farms that have been owned and run by cage farm operators, their farm has no association to those and is truly a traditional free-range farm.

All their chooks are in a natural habitat. Roaming the fields, scratching around, being social, being free, enjoying life and laying healthy, happy eggs. Eggs that taste absolutely delicious. Whangaripo Valley Eggs are also the closest egg farm to Auckland, so their eggs are super fresh and are normally delivered to buyers the day after they were laid.
