The Fresh Grower
Established over 60 years ago, The Fresh Grower is a multi-generational family business that started with Allan’s grandfather and father. Now Allan and his younger brother Colin are currently running the farm, and the third generation is already coming through. Allan followed in his family’s footsteps, a great business to get into knowing they are growing products that are healthy and essential for people.
In 2016, Allan won a prestigious Australasian award acknowledging him as an outstanding leader and innovator across productivity, sustainability and his contribution to the community and people.
The Fresh Grower focuses on growing unique and less known vegetables. They strive to educate consumers by making different tastes and textures more accessible and mainstream, so consumers can experiment with new ingredients and expand their culinary repertoire. They grow a range of products including many varieties of Asian vegetables, broccolini, speciality lettuces, and Asian turnips. Most vegetables are available all year round except for Snow Peas and Sugar Snaps which are only available during the Summer months.
